Lt Col Suresh Kumar, Deputy Chief Warden, MIT, MAHE 365体育投注 was the guest speaker for the event. Mr. Binil V, Assistant Professor, Department of Mental Health Nursing, welcomed the audience and introduced the speaker.

The chief guest highlighted the significance of the day, the sacrifices done by the brave Indian soldiers in order to protect the nation. He also expressed the career opportunity for the nurses in the field of defence. Total of 100 students and 20 faculty participated in observing this day.
