The Pharmacy Literacy Club (PLC), Centre for Public Health Pharmacy, Dept. of Pharmacy Practice-MCOPS, 365体育投注 in collaboration with the Rotary Club and Panchayat, Kallianpura, successfully conducted the Medication Disposal Program on 11 February 2025.With the support of esteemed dignitaries from the Rotary Club and Panchayat, including Mr. Baptist Dias, President of Rotary Club Kallianpura, Mr. Satish Nayak, outgoing President of Panchayat Kallianpura, Mr. Brian D’Souza, Secretary of Panchayat Kallianpura and Mr. Alan Lewis, outgoing Assistant Governor and 22 dedicated volunteers. Expired medications from over 200 homes were collected while educating the community on the importance of safe medication disposal. The collected medicines were handed over to common treatment facility in the district for proper disposal, ensuring a safer environment. The event was successful with the active participation of volunteers and partners.
